In education system, digital portfolio is the way to record the result of activity and reflection during the education process. It also record the development individual competence. In education, digital portofolio is documentation system that load all of activities and reflekction to indicate change or development individual potential. And, for the competency of mathematics, there are five categories:

1.     Mathematical communication

2.     Mathematical reasoning

3.     Mathematical problem solving

4.     Mathematical connections

5.     Positive attitudes toward mathematics

One way to save the data of portofolio is by blog. Blog can be employed as actualization media to improve the competency of mathematics between lecturer and students. There are many ways to post article about mathematics into blog, so the students can read in blog to do learning based on IT.

The aim of this research is to construct multiuser Blog as employing software opensource in mathematics learning, to form instructor and student’s appreciation employing software and portofolio model, to improve competency of mathematics as the result of digital portofolio through multiuser Blog, and also as communication culture between instructor or lecturer and students. The research objects are software blog multiuser (wordpress), students of mathematics education, and tutorial of lecture.

            The literature of this research, blog is abbreviation of webblog, that is a personal website which updated the contents of blog continually. In blog, usually there are links into another web, so we can open another web easily and also there are many comments on posting some text. By this comment, we can criticize the text or some papers and we can give our opinion through comment in blog.

            The components to actualize blog are:

1.     The main area of blog that contains articles or chronology’s note.

2.     Articles are wrtitten before.

3.     There are the comment box to post the comments from user or blogger.

4.     List of another web links.

5.     Really Simple Sindication (RSS) to display the contain of blog as an email client.

           

As the last, the conclusion is that developing blog as digital portfolio to actualize and to improve compentency of mathematics is important because learning process employing IT (Information and Technology) is necessary need development. Through blog employing in mathematics learning  can be sequential to another learning process.
